KMI demonstrators

At the KMI Competence Center, visitors can view and test demonstrators. The “Agile Factory of the Future” interactively simulates realistic production processes. Participants learn how Industry 5.0 works and test the interaction between humans and AI in a production environment. The “Sustainability and AI (DeNKI)” demonstrator, available in both analog and digital versions, puts users in the role of management. In fictional scenarios, they make decisions regarding AI deployment and learn about their implications and conflicting goals regarding ecological, economic, and social sustainability. The demonstrators are located at the Institute for Applied Computer Science (Institut für Angewandte Informatik e.V.) on the 2nd floor at Goerdelerring 9 in Leipzig.
